Driver Education & Rehabilitation Courses
Due to constant changes in driver conduct and attitude the Driver Education Centre have introduced a driver education and rehabilitation course. The course is 21 hours in duration and spans 3 days
Trainers are local people who care that you get the best possible advice to help prevent re-offending. The course combines:
- presentations,
- group exercises,
- group discussions
- videos
- course workbook and leaflets which will be given to you when you attend.
The drink drive course is designed to be educational; covering alcohol education, impact on health, responsible driving, the law, sentencing, and victims.
You will be given advice in a non -judgemantal environment.
Course content focuses on education through engagement and empowerment. Our expert counsellors and volunteers are at hand during group and private sessions. Angermanagement plays a vital role in such courses and assertive training is actively encouraged.
